3) Trains you to keep your shoulder in and not pull it
When hitters pull their head and/or shoulder they lose site of the ball. TheDeadEye trains the hitter to keep the head still, keep your eye on the ball until contact is made. If you pull your head
or shoulder while training with TheDeadEye, you will not
see the ball.

Should not be used with live pitching or pitching machines.
TheDeadEye can help train infielders in fielding and throwing accuracy. One of the biggest mistakes most infielders do when fielding a ball is they don’t keep their head down. With TheDeadEye, it trains the infielder to keep their head down in order to field the ball. With the vision restriction, if the infielder does not keep their head down, they won’t be able to see the ball. With throwing accuracy, TheDeadEye condensing the target area where the infielder is throwing (most of time 1st base) thus creating a smaller area to focus and concentrate on.
Important-When infielders are training with TheDeadEye to improve their fielding, the only drill that should be used is having someone standing 10-15 feet away and rolling the ball on the ground so the infielder can get in front of the ball and get their head down. It is not necessary to take grounders by someone hitting from home plate to the infielder (For Safety Purposes). It is about the fundamental and technique in order to create the good muscle memory to get in front of the ball and keeping the head down.
Throwing accuracy to the bases from the outfield can be enhanced by training with TheDeadEye. TheDeadEye condenses the target area where the outfielder is throwing thus creating a smaller area to concentrate and focus on.
Important-When outfielders are training with TheDeadEye to improve their throwing accuracy, the drill should be limited to either the outfielder just throwing it up themselves or someone standing 10-15 feet away and soft tossing the ball up 10-15 feet (For Safety Purposes).

Training with TheDeadEye is going to train you to be able to be more accurate. TheDeadEye condenses the target area where the pitcher is throwing, thus creating a smaller area to concentrate and focus on.
